I began my acting career as a child in Poughkeepsie, NY. After high school, I attended several universities. I received an AS in Performing Arts from SUNY Dutchess and a BA in Theatre Performance from Western Connecticut State University. My primary focus within the theatre is contemporary plays and the message of change that theatre can enforce and inform. Some of my favorite playwrights include Lynn Nottage, Clare Barron, and Paula Vogel.

I have trained in several acting techniques, including Uta Hagan, Suzuki Method, Viewpoints, and the Meisner Technique, taught by Broadway alum John Hickok. I have also taken a summer intensive at the Stella Adler Institute, where I learned under Ron Burrus’ apprentice, Patrick Quagliano. I have studied with professionals such as Tony-nominated Liz Parkinson and award-winning director Chris Bolan. On-campus, I played leading roles such as Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd, Lloyd Dallas in Noises Off, and Claude in Hair–-to which I received a Kennedy Center Richard Maltby Award nomination.
